I’ll be honest, this is one of the hardest things for me to get consistent with. I start out each season super strong and then get caught up in the bustle of the maintenance and harvests. It’s important to try to keep garden records and journals though because they can teach us a lot from year to year. They can also make this process of planning our garden a lot easier, too.

From planting dates, to quantities and locations, to yields and methods of preservation. There are endless ways and types of things that can be beneficial to keep track of when it comes to growing food to feed your family.

This post will

  • List types of things to keep track of and how they might be helpful

  • Provide a few methods for record keeping

  • Share my approach in 2025

It’s day 19 of the holistic garden planning workshop - only 2 days left 🙌. You can catch up here!
